The solar powered CVU base unit gives you optimal control of your indoor climate by the push of a button. With this base unit, you can operate the flat roof window from anywhere in the room using the pre-paired wall switch included in the package. The window’s solar battery charges automatically, even in cloudy conditions, completely eliminating the need for any wiring to complete installation.

The new generation of VELUX glass rooflights combine maximum daylight with a sleek, beautiful design from inside the home. The slim sash of the window allows for a glass-to-edge view to the sky, optimizing the influx of daylight and fresh air in your home. The 3-layer insulating glass unit ensures the window’s excellent insulating capabilities while also providing sound reduction from rain, hail or traffic.

The CVU base unit is supplied with a pre-installed rain sensor that automatically closes the flat roof window in the slightest case of rain.

The window is VELUX ACTIVE compatible, offering you automatic indoor climate control using your smartphone.

The base of the rooflight can be installed with the Curved glass top unit ISU 1093 within roof range 0° to 15°. The flat glass top unit ISU 2093 can be used in installation range 2° to 15°.
